Understood as a new public space devoted to literary culture, not just the Trubar Literature House aims to become an intellectual focal point and cultural center of the city, especially to children and young people by offering a stimulating alternative for leisure. Inside the building, this would include an exhibition space that will house temporary exhibitions and installations.

From today, Sept. 2, opening day, there are more than 200 events – thanks to the participation of authors from all over the world – including book presentations, workshops, meetings, discussions and social criticism and artistic events. On this occasion also, the city of Ljubljana has commissioned Alessandro Lupi work that will be installed permanently in the space of Trubar Literature House. This is a work of his famous series fluorescent density, this time spectacularly kinetic, representing just Primo? Trubar.

The fluorescent density are works that the young artist of Genoese origin achieved since 1997 and named after the technique he developed. The structures of various shapes and sizes, wood or metal, which support thin wires, polyamide, and parallel argument, painted one by one with paint and fluorescent colors that feed on Wood’s light. The design on the wires is made from an orthogonal projection, which allows the artist to create three-dimensional figures that interact with the space, so kinetic or static sound through specifically composed and produced in collaboration with Danilo Rolle. The fluorescent density occur in the dark, are sculptures made of materials but seem projections, eat light, but in light are invisible, but they appear as large bodies are extremely fine, are painted sculptures, their matter is the pigment.

The work of Wolves tip to surprise and provoke an emotional reaction in the observer, creating atmospheres that stimulate our potential and challenge our perceptual imagination.
